what you propose is a RHD conversion of a 240/260/280 and will never have the value of a restored actual S30 model vehicle.
What are you looking at engine pix for anyway? What are you trying to determine?
The dash and some of the body harness is different, but mostly the same.
The LHD dash harness can be used as an RHD by shortening the wires and moving them to the appropriate places on the RHD Dash. Generally though, rehabilitation through competent means restores even the worst RHD Dash. People with them usually weren't hacks like most LHD owners in the USA.
There are differences in the wiring in regards to which lights come on when, which blink and which don't...
Really you need to determine what you are going for and state it outright rather than looking for the answers you think you need. People will answer whatever you want, but you can screw yourself into a corner really quickly going down the wrong route...make a lot of work and get nothing in return!
