280Z Clarion Radio?

I'm trying to install what I think is an original radio in my 280Z. The PO had installed a later model radio and ripped out the original speaker wires. The radio is a Clarion model and works. See the pixs attached.

Question - Were 78 AM/FM Datsun radios stereo?

This radio has a S button that when activated will glow red when on an FM station. BUT the radio only has one pair of speaker wires.
The radio also has a balance knob but I don't see how it would work with only one speaker output.

Dad's brand new '77 2+2 had stereo from the factory. I was 10 when he bought it It was a 5 speed that he'd let me shift with his hand on mine to help out. I remember him making a big deal out of the fact that it was a stereo, not just an am/fm radio. I though it sounded pretty lousy, even then.

back of radio would help, prob has the 3 pin speaker out plug, also a single speaker out on the power plug (there are 2 separate plugs to go in the back of the radio, the 6 pin will have the power/lights/single speaker option, the 3 pin is the stereo speaker option). Pressing the S will turn off on side, it toggles.

Thanks Dave,

You gave me the clue to find the lead to the second speaker.
