chrome plating in the tacoma area

Does anyone know of a good place that does chrome plating in the Tacoma and Seattle area? I have tried the yellow book but no one really does small quantities of work.

Re: chrome plating in the tacoma area

I work with a couplel platers in my area (Detroit Metro Area) that do small quantity work. One is a zinc plater and the other is a chrome plater. Both do excellent work. The chromer takes a long time though. The last stuff I had done was on a 3 month backlog. I've found that is normal for small qty chrome platers though. You can send your stuff to me and I'll have it done for you. I do that as a side business for other classic car guys. check out the website at www.restoration-specialties.net.

how small a quantity? My dad has a place he goes to in Seattle and has done just bumper guards before with them, I'll see if I can get you a name.

They're not in Tacoma, but they're in South park area in south Seattle, a place called Art's Brass Plating. They do good work and do small stuff too.
